Applications for 2025 GPSS Research Symposium Co-Chiars will be open from July 1st - August 22nd at 11:59PM EDT.

The GPSS Research Symposium and Exposition is a unique opportunity for graduate students and advanced undergraduate students to bring together ideas and research findings from different disciplines and showcase their scholarly pursuits and achievements. It provides a platform for exhilarating exchanges of ideas, invigorating interactions, and valuable networking between participants, faculty, departments, and research entities, which could pave the way for interdisciplinary research discussion and future collaboration.

The Graduate School provides a generous level of funding to cover our operating costs. The scholarship monies awarded to winners are generously donated by many offices, colleges, departments, programs, and schools of the university. The Spring 2025 event will be our 41st Annual GPSS Research Symposium and Exposition! While your research need not be interdisciplinary, please prepare your materials with a broad audience in mind.

The deadline to submit abstracts and proposals for poster or talk presentations and creative installations (e.g., performances or showcases) has not yet opened.

The date and location of the 41th Annual GPSS Research Symposium and Exposition is TBD.
Wednesday March 27, 2024 at the Graduate Life Center Virginia Tech Graduate Life Center, Blacksburg, VA
